GVM Upgrade

We work with aftermarket suspension manufacturers and vehicle modifiers to conduct structural assessments on suspension and chassis components when used for GVM upgrade applications, where a vehicle’s weight rating is increased beyond the OEM specifications.

The interactions between springs, shocks, bumpstops, ride heights and increased weights are complex and need to take into account all aspects of the system, not just a component in isolation.

Whether it’s a solid axle or more complex independent suspension systems, we have the simulation tools and know how to address all the engineering intricacies of a GVM upgrade, from one off vehicle modifications right through to Second Stage Manufacturer (SSM) requirements.
