Structural integrity of Roll Over Protection Systems (ROPS) and Falling Object Protection Systems (FOPS) is critical to ensure safety for the operator of vehicles, agricultural and earthmoving equipment.

Whilst physical testing is generally required to comply with the relevant standards, such testing is expensive and time consuming, so nonlinear FEA can be used during the design phase to ensure the design will perform as expected prior to moving to physical testing.
